I’m a candid type of girl. We’ll take a couple of “look here and smile” images for Grandma and your holiday cards but if you all just BE together and never look at me once, that’s where the magic happens. Memories aren’t made staring at a camera saying cheese. They’re tickle piles and knock knock jokes, belly laughs, and even tears. My goal is to capture you, your partner, and your family exactly how you are in this season. I craft authentic images that capture the NOW.

My signature style is filmy warm images touched by golden sun but I also love a good crisp studio session filled with natural light. I shoot with a Nikon D750 digital camera and a Canon AE-1 circa 1976, 35 mm film camera.

PERSONAL STYLING

sit back and relax without panicking about outfits - we can either work with what you currently have in your closet or i can put together a curated closet for you. styling is essential to tying in the look of your images. one brightly colored or busy patterned shirt can throw off the whole mood

TIME TO RELAX

a longer session allows us to get to know each other and gives kids time to adjust to a new person. we have flexibility for outfit changes, snacks, and even meltdowns. my sessions showcase your personality and relationships and if i don't know a little about you, your images won't feel personalized

UNLIMITED ACCESS

many photographers offer you a viewing gallery where you have to pick a certain amount of photos that you will keep and then they upsell for more. not here. you'll receive all of your edited images in an online gallery and you have unlimited access and free downloads

What to Expect

Each session is unique to the person/family. 

Since our time together is designed for you, it’s important to come with any questions or requests that you may have so we can make sure your session is exactly what you want it to be.

  • after you request a booking I will send you a questionnaire to make sure that we are a good match and that you're going to get what you're envisioning

  • once you're booked i will send you a guide to prepare for your session and together we will plan out the wardrobe

  • the day of the session we'll meet up, chat for a little and get started. i'll guide you the whole time, don't worry about not knowing what to do

  • i will have your gallery ready in about 30 days, but i'll send you a few sneak peeks too

  • you have unlimited access and downloads from your gallery. you can make all of your own albums and prints or we can design them together

FAQs

What do I need to bring to the session?

Besides the obvious - the people - you can bring anything you like, a couple outfits, memorabilia that means something to you, baby booties, stuffed animals whatever you need and works for the session. For the little ones that are tagging along, feel free to bring snacks, drinks and their favorite lovey, anything to make them feel comfortable.

Which package is best for me?

I've streamlined the decision process for you with three options. The Package is for families, maternity and couples. The Graduation Package is for high school and college seniors. The Film Package is the same as The Package but I only use a vintage Canon film camera and you'll only receive physical printed images. Easy Peasy.

Do I need to have prior photography experience?

Absolutely not. I am trained to guide you with prompts that feel natural and showcase your personality - that’s why we spend so much time getting to know each other beforehand and during the session. 

Will I have the option to add time to my session?

My sessions are 60-90 minutes to allow for a lot of flexibility. In reality, a smooth session only takes about 30 minutes. But life is rarely smooth lol. There is plenty of time for outfit changes or soothing upset little ones. There is no upcharge if we go over time to document what we need.

Can I ask questions throughout the session?

100%. And you also should free free to stop me or speak up if anything we are doing is uncomfortable, doesn't feel natural or isn't your vibe. This is about you, so always advocate for what you want.

How do I purchase more images?

I will deliver every worthy image to you, you won't have to choose. I don't offer prints in packages because now a days that is accessible to the average person online. But I am happy to help you design and order professional prints from my favorite sites if you would like to.
